A Christian at college?!
Will I face rejection? “Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.” -- Luke 6:22

Rhythm of Life
Rhythm isn't just for music. Think about life at SIUE: you get up, clean up, eat, go to class, eat some more, go to class some more and eat yet again. Then what? You study, and if you have any time left over, you do something fun. Meet with a few friends, jump on Facebook, etc. Don't forget about God. As part of your daily rhythm, set aside a few minutes each evening to think about your day. Bring God into the discussion. If you need a Bible, email us and we'll get you one. Blessings!

Lend a Hand!
St. John's United Methodist Church, one of the sponsoring congregations for Meals and Music Ministries, needs help Saturday morning, Oct. 8, to remove shrubbery and install sod. Of course, lunch is included! St. John's is on the east edge of Edwardsville at 7372 Marine Road. If you take Governors' Parkway to the end, then turn left on Route 143, you'll see St. John's about a mile down on the left. Please email George Key at gkey@siue.edu if you can help out.

Welcome to Meals & Music!
M&M, now in its sixth year, is a Christian outreach program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
We offer Pizza 'n' B.S. from 6-6:45 Wednesdays at Prairie Hall, and we are launching a mission group that will be working with Habitat for Humanity one Saturday a month.
As always, it's FREE!
Join us on Friday, April 30, for a trip to the Agape music festival in Greenville, for some of the top Christian contemporary music like David Crowder and Burning Yesterday (shown at right).
Our student group, led by President George Key and 1st Vice President Reggie Edwards, are always looking for efforts to further expand our offerings. Click on our student tab to the left for more information about our student group and its leadership.
